Women in Power

Save the 2nd November for a discussion with a top-flight panel of leading women at the Fortune Theatre in Covent Garden on November 2nd at 6.30 for 7.30pm. This is a special Women in Journalism event kindly hosted by the Ambassador Theatre Group and we are throwing open the doors and the debate to many other similar networks – please come to what promises to be a fantastic and stimulating evening.

Do women want power, or are we ambivalent? Is centuries of conditioning to please and be liked holding us back? And are all women so conflicted, or just some? One hundred years after winning the vote and forty years after the Equal Pay Act, why are there still so few women making their way to the top? Join us for an evening of stimulating debate about how to really move the dial.

Keynote speaker:  Sylvia Hewlett CEO of the Centre for Talent Innovation, one of Harvard Business Review’s top ten thinkers and an authority on gender issues in the workplace.

Professor Dame Carol Black Principal of Newnham College Cambridge, a doctor and leading authority on health policy.
Rosemary Squire  As Founder and joint CEO of the Ambassador Theatre Group, one of the biggest in the world, Rosemary is one of the most influential women in the profession
