Award-winning BBC broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire knows all about resilience, personally and professionally. Brought up with a violent father she has also had to deal with a breast cancer diagnosis and losing her acclaimed morning TV show despite rave reviews, breaking multiple exclusive stories and millions of views online for the programme’s original journalism . With all the challenges she has faced Victoria has a steadfast, no-nonsense philosophy of picking yourself up and getting on with it. It has led to her making agenda-setting Panorama programmes and stepping out of her comfort zone going into the I’m A Celebrity Castle as well as stripping off on TV for a breast cancer awareness show The Real Full Monty.

Who better to inspire us to step into the unknown territory of 2022?
