WiJ has teamed up with MA journalism students at LCC to create an exciting new WIJ Instagram campaign and strategy to build on the success of our recent survey of diversity in newsrooms. They have done us proud with a very impressive amount of research, thinking and creativity.

‘Women in Journalism were delighted and proud to collaborate with the students at UAL in producing this Instagram campaign based on our research on diversity in the press.  This is such a crucial issue to us – and to the entire industry – for until such time as we are truly reflecting the nation and the full spectrum of news consumers we are failing in our role as journalists.
The students involved were so committed, passionate and full of ideas for the project.  We very much hope to work with UAL students again on further projects.’
