Members are invited to reserve a place for our free weekly meet-ups, designed to help you through the coronavirus crisis.
The third meet-up will take place on Tuesday April 21 at 5.30pm.
Find out about how to use your experience to work for businesses and third sector organisations with Louise Court, former Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan, Editorial Director of Hearst and WiJ committee member.
Louise now uses her expertise in magazines and newspapers to advise charities, start-ups and established businesses on content, campaigns and strategy. “No-one tells a story better than a journalist,” she says. “We understand how to get to the point, to find the USP and to express it in a compelling way – whether it is addressing consumers or for internal communications. For years there has been a snobbery about ‘it’s not real-journalism’ but if you are curious there are still good stories to tell.”
Tuesday 21 April 5.30-6.30pm, moderated by Jem Collins of Journo Resources and WIJ committee member.
Places are limited to 25 to ensure the session runs smoothly, so please do register early to confirm your place. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, and we’ll email everyone on Tuesday to confirm. Please register here:
Please submit any question in advance for Louise
We will be running workshops across a number of themes every Tuesday, with the aim of getting as many members to benefit from them as possible, so please do keep an eye on these emails and register for those that would benefit you the most. Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended an online session with us.
We look forward to seeing you!
