De-stress at your desk

Following our sell out masterclass on how to be more resilient WIJ is marking Stress Awareness Month with a practical session on helping deal with stress at work... and at home.

The 45 minute lunchtime workshop will be run by workplace wellness company Khind Collective and will share tools to help you deal with fight or flight mode and combat feelings of being overwhelmed by deadlines and anxiety.

When we are at our busiest, it seems impossible to even contemplate taking a few minutes out to rebalance ourselves, but a basic understanding of how our nervous system works can help even in the most hectic newsrooms.

Katie Hind is the founder of workplace wellness company Khind Collective. She works with companies to create wellbeing offerings for their employees, clients and networks, as ultimately, better mental health leads to better business outcomes.
