WiJ summer party 2024

It was great seeing all of you gather together to celebrate the (rather wet) start of summer with us! Despite the rain, the moods were bright and the wine flowed.

We hosted at the October Gallery where guests were welcome to enjoy the unique artwork in between networking. They also enjoyed free snacks and wine courtesy of Tesco.

Rachel Corp gave her speech on the upcoming Georgina Henry awards (look out for updates on our website and in our newsletter), and becoming a mentor (which you can read more about here). Perhaps you’d like to be mentored instead? We’ll provide you with all the updates at a future date. In the meantime, you can read the guidelines here.

Rachel also introduced two new committee members who joined the WiJ family: Sunita Bhatti and Joss Evans. You can read up on their background on our website; and reminded everyone of our exciting South Asian heritage month event coming up next week (tickets available here).

Everyone networked and had a great evening. We cannot wait to see you at the next one in 2025!
